SUBSTANCE: invention relates to microwave equipment, particularly, to transitions. Strip-waveguide junction comprises a section of a regular rectangular cross-section waveguide, 180-degree turned in transition zone, with a short-circuited quarter-wave section of the turned portion, and in place of rotation there is a wall divided into two parts and between the broad walls of waveguide segment and 180° rotated segment there is a small gap, which includes the line of symmetry of the strips gap symmetric stripline docked with the rotation end of the regular waveguide of rectangular cross section, wherein strip of symmetrical stripline passes through the opening of the divided into two parts walls and forms between the walls of the gap and the strip a symmetrical quarter-wave stripline loop opened on the end. Waveguide, symmetrical strip lines, short-circuited quarter-wave loop and open symmetrical quarter-wave loop can have filling with different dielectrics.

EFFECT: design of a coaxial strip-and-waveguide transition between a regular rectangular cross-section waveguide and a symmetrical strip line with galvanic isolation between the waveguide and the strip and the possibility of supplying DC voltage to the strip.
