SUBSTANCE: method for recording data into a cluster from a plurality of host machines comprising a plurality of hard disks comprises: obtaining a plurality of erasure values for hard disks on each host machine from said host machines, which is equal to total number of erasing operations performed on said hard disk; obtaining a total number of erasures for each host machine from said host machines, equal to the sum of the number of erasures of hard disks on a given host machine; obtaining data for recording into a cluster; identification of one or more host machines, each of which satisfies one or more first conditions associated with data recording.

EFFECT: technical result of the invention is to provide a balanced deletion and recording between different physical data storage units, prevents premature damage of one physical data storage unit due to too many erasures and records in a physical data storage unit and increases system stability, in which a physical data storage unit is located in a high availability scenario.
