FIELD: forestry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of forestry and is intended for clearing of stumps from trees during reforestation, as well as during reconstruction of plantations in urban conditions. Proposed unit comprises basic power unit, hydraulic boom hydraulically actuated vertically and horizontally, boom fitted in axially displacing boom and in contact with resilient element. Elastic element can be a spring or a pneumatic cylinder. Proposed unit comprises cutter with solid case composed of truncated cone with cutter and trimmer knives mounted on its outer surface. Hydraulic engine and reducing gear are located inside the housing. Technical result consists in separation of drive of unit movement and drive of cutter rotation, due to which it became possible to cut stump level with soil surface in mode of continuous movement of basic power facility.

EFFECT: unit provides high efficiency and improved performance.
