FIELD: railway automatics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway automation, for control and signaling of signals of traffic lights. Control method includes switching of input voltage of two levels for realization of day and night mode of traffic light burning through safe relays, activated by means of safe voltage generated in self-disengaging generator with continuous reception of control actions from external control module, a unit of electronic switches and a current meter with measurement of current value both on burning and non-burning lights. If current values exceed tolerable limits, module operation is continued according to predetermined algorithm, periodic self-test of safety relays and earthing error detector is performed, wherein successive activation of safe relays is performed by hardware implementation of the principle of safe failures, in which, in case of failure of module and / or deactivation of safety relays, voltage is reliably removed from all outputs of the supply circuit of the enabling lights and is transmitted to all outputs of the supply circuit of the prohibiting lights, as well as checking continuity of circuit of non-lit lights by means of short-term activation of testing keys of extinguished lights of traffic light and measurement of current value on them.

EFFECT: higher safety of traffic light control and control circuits.
