FIELD: test technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to testing of electrical equipment. Invention is a method for testing safety shutters of sockets, wherein fork pin is pressed to socket openings with force of pressing calibration value perpendicularly to working surface of receptacle, characterized by that one of two pins No. 1 and No. 2 is positioned coaxially with socket holes with size corresponding to plug for tested sockets, each pin is equipped with a drive mechanism connected to the control and registration unit, along the interaction axis of each pin and each hole of the socket, applying simultaneously or alternatively force of pressing calibration value of not less than 40 N, test of operability of the receptacle is carried out in the form of one of three testing programs, including lowering of pin No. 1, or pin No. 2, or simultaneously two pins into holes of the socket.
EFFECT: automation of test of safety shutters of electric sockets during industrial production.
