FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of preparing ore for dressing and can be used in mining and diamond mining industry. Proposed method consists in regulating return water temperature from refracting pond to wet self-grinding mill. Return water temperature is controlled by means of heat pump connected to pulp duct 2 and return water pipeline 3. As an external heat source, pulp is used, which moves through pulp duct 2, wherein heat carrier is recycled water supplied from clarifying pond. Evaporator 4 of heat pump is located directly in pulp duct 2, and condenser 6 is located in pipeline 3 of recycled water, which is heated to temperature of 30–70 °C.
EFFECT: method enables to reduce heat losses, which increases efficiency of wet self-grinding of materials.
