FIELD: enrichment of minerals.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of mineral processing and can be used in the enrichment of diamond-bearing kimberlite ores, characterized by a high content of clay materials, mainly saponite, extracted from the fields of the Arkhangelsk region of the Russian Federation. Method for grinding diamondiferous saponite containing ore for its subsequent enrichment includes feeding to the mill a wet self-reduction of the initial ore and circulating water, taken out from the tailing dump of the concentrating plant, unloading of the crushed material in the form of ore pulp. Turnaround water is saturated with carbon dioxide within the limits of solubility at a given water temperature before feeding to the mill.
EFFECT: technical result is a decrease in the viscosity of the ore pulp at the exit of the wet self-milling mill and the increase in the efficiency of further ore dressing.
