SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of communication. Terminal device starts the preconfigured timer when the terminal device starts demodulating the downlink control signalling information. Terminal device is monitored with indication information on resource occupancy transmitted by the network device in the pre-configured target tracking frequency zone within the timer operation duration, wherein the resource occupancy index information is used to indicate a resource that is occupied by other traffic in the advanced mobile broadband communication traffic resource, eMBB, wherein the eMBB resource is a time-to-time resource used to schedule eMBB traffic, wherein the other traffic is different from the eMBB traffic.

EFFECT: technical result consists in reduction of demodulation error with increase in tracking efficiency for terminal device.
