FIELD: data processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to face recognition. Method for assessing asymmetry of a person's face comprises steps of: capturing an image of a person using a camera; converting the captured image of a person into an image of a person with aligned lighting; retrieving features of asymmetry of a person's face from an image of a person with aligned lighting; detecting areas of part of face on person image with aligned lighting; retrieving asymmetry features for each detected area of a face from each detected area of a face; asymmetry of the human face is evaluated by processing asymmetry features trained by the convolution neural network for each detected area of the face and features of asymmetry of the human face.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of human face asymmetry assessment efficiency and prediction of human face and user face similarity for mobile device in real time with low computational load.
