FIELD: information technology; explosive equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to information and blasting equipment, specifically to devices for rapid destruction of solid-state information media in case of unauthorized access to said carriers. Proposed device comprises housing (1) accommodating information storage container (7), one or several briquettes (4 and 6) or tablets of gas-free or low-gas composition and ignition system. Housing (1) of the device is thin-walled and has a small box-like appearance from non-metallic material. Ignition system includes source of electric current (2), igniter (3) in the form of either wire spiral with diameter from 0.04 to 0.2 mm, made from alloy with high resistance to electric current, with applied on its ignition composition, mixed on nitrolacquer, or housing microelectro-igniter with interlocking and switching device and with electric wires. Inside housing (1) around process container (7) for data carrier with briquettes (4 and 6) and / or tablets there is cavity filled with heat absorber (5).
EFFECT: higher rate of ignition, simplification of ignition system, high manufacturability, low temperature of housing device, reduced weight and dimensional characteristics of device and simplified design.
