SUBSTANCE: invention relates to protecting information from unauthorized access by destroying the data medium. Device comprises a sealed housing in which are installed a working charge made of pyrotechnic composition, providing, during combustion, dynamic generation of gaseous products, and initiating element installed in contact with working charge or connected by air channel.
EFFECT: improved operational characteristics by reducing the size of the device due to reducing the weight of the pyrotechnic composition of the working charge while maintaining high destruction efficiency.
