SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for destruction of electronic data carriers to a state which ensures impossibility of information recovery. Technical result is achieved by the fact that device for emergency destruction of memory microcircuit contains made with possibility of installation on textolite on top of memory microcircuit molded active material with electric initiator pressed inside, to which the current leads are connected, wherein the pressed active material is obtained by mixing a boron-containing component and zirconium in a stoichiometric ratio, mechanical treatment of the mixture in a ball mill, drying and disaggregation of the obtained powder and pressing the obtained powder together with an electrical initiator to which current leads are connected.

EFFECT: simplification of design, as well as reduction of explosion hazard and possibility of ignition of other parts of computer from sparks.
