FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly, to metal processing, and can be used for edge milling, in particular, for chamfering at pipe ends and at sheet edges. Hand-held chamfering machine comprising a frame mounted on the frame with a gear motor mounted on it on one side with a cooling fan, and on the other side - thrust pads, clamping levers with guide driven rollers, driving roller with notches on surface and manual drive, assembly milling head with replaceable hard-alloy cutting plates. In the machine tool there is a channel for air blowing of the processing zone. Removable hard-alloy cutting plates of prefabricated milling head are fixed perpendicular to axis of rotation of milling head and installed with possibility of removal of straight or stepped chamfer. Each clamping lever is made in form of local closed curve, and each driven roller is installed on clamping levers by means of remote bushing, which is made in form of sliding bearing.

EFFECT: as a result, higher rigidity of the MATP system (machine-accessory-tool-part), as well as high torque on the milling head assembly.
