FIELD: pipelines.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of production of steel pipes, and, in particular, it relates to the automated chamfering machine at ends of steel pipes, which is used for production of longitudinal steel pipes and steel pipes with spiral seam at submerged arc welding of coarse diameter. Said machine comprises base, larger bearing plate arranged on base, and plates with hooks arranged at its two ends, respectively. Plates with hooks are made with possibility of engagement with base by means of hooks. On the large bearing plate a guide plate is installed by means of a guiding rail, on which a headstock is installed by means of fasteners, having an assembled structure and containing an upper headstock and a lower headstock. Lower headstock is connected to the bed, and on the head element of the head there is an upper headstock, at the same time in the lower element of the head there is a mechanism for switching of speeds. On the bed, which is located in the lower part of the headstock, the main engine is installed, the output end of which is connected to the gear mechanism in the front head via the first connecting coupling. On the outer side of the headstock there is a cutting disc, a cutting device is installed on the cutting blade. At one end of the large bearing plate there is also a clamping device, and the first traction chain is also installed to the end surface of the large bearing plate on one end of the large bearing plate. Above the first traction chain by means of a clamping plate the second traction chain is installed.
