FIELD: measurement.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to determination of volume flow rate of gas or liquid and can be used in heat power, gas and other industries. Method of volumetric flow rate measurement by jet converter (JCR) consists in that gas or liquid is passed through parallel installed JCR and laminar resistance with known geometric parameters, frequency of oscillations of jet generator JCR is fixed and volume flow rate Q is determined, passing through pipeline by formula: Q = QJCR + QLR = AJCR⋅f + ALR⋅f2/υ, where QJCR is volume flow rate of medium passing through pipeline through JCR; QLR is volumetric flow rate of medium passing through pipeline through laminar resistance; f is oscillation frequency of jet generator JCR, AJCR is proportionality coefficient, which depends on geometric parameters of jet transducer sensor; ALR is a coefficient of proportionality, which depends on geometrical parameters of laminar resistance; υ is kinematic viscosity of the medium.
EFFECT: wider range of measured volume flow rate of gas or liquid passing through a pipeline.
