FIELD: cosmetic industry.
SUBSTANCE: moistening cosmetic composition contains (i) one or more solid vegetable oils in amount of 5–35 wt % in terms of whole composition, which are selected from a group comprising cocoa butter, illipe oil, murumuru oil, indian garcinia oil, aloe oil, avocado oil, cupuacu butter, Australian nut oil, mango oil, olive oil, shea butter, coconut oil, pumpkin seed oil, peanut oil, almond oil, coffee oil, hemp oil, mochaccino oil, pistachio oil, shea butter + aloe and mixtures thereof; (ii) one or more liquid vegetable oils in amount of 20–50 wt % in terms of whole composition, which are selected from a group comprising sesame oil, rosehips oil, almond oil, raspberry oil, jojoba oil, avocado oil, castor oil, moringa oil, olive oil, grape seed oil, argan oil, baobab oil, Kalahari melon oil, Brazil nut oil and mixtures thereof; and (iii) maize starch in amount of 40–75 wt % in terms of whole composition; where the cosmetic composition does not contain a preserving agent. Also disclosed is a method of preparing the composition, a product and a cosmetic method for skin moisturizing.
