FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to network nodes. First electronic network node configured for key exchange protocol (KEX), wherein first network node is configured to receive a shared polynomial shared with second network node, wherein the coefficients of the shared polynomial a are selected modulo a first mathematical module q, form a polynomial (skL) of the private keys, wherein the polynomial coefficients of the closed keys are limited by the absolute value by the limit (s), generate public key polynomial (pkL) by means of next calculation of polynomial product between shared polynomial (a) and polynomial (skL) of private keys modulo first mathematical module (q) and decreasing scaling of coefficients of polynomial product to second mathematical module (p).
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of safety due to that key exchange schemes achieve minimum communication volume or bandwidth requirements while providing protection from opponents with support for classical, as well as quantum computing.
