FIELD: transmission and processing of data.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to network nodes. Provided is a first electronic network node configured for a key exchange protocol (KEX), wherein the first network node is configured to receive a shared matrix (A), shared with second network node, wherein entries in shared matrix A are selected modulo first non-negative value q, generate (SI) matrix of confidential keys, wherein records in matrix of confidential keys are limited by absolute value by limit (s), generate matrix (PI) of public keys by means of the following: calculation of matrix product between shared matrix (A) and matrix (SI) of confidential keys modulo the first non-negative value (q) and downscaling of records in matrix product to second non-negative value (p).
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of safety due to that key exchange schemes achieve minimum communication volume or bandwidth requirements while providing protection from opponents with support for classical, as well as quantum computing.
