SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing a reaction mixture containing a set of C3-chlorinated alkane isomers. Described from the method of producing a reaction mixture containing a plurality of C3-chlorinated alkane isomers, including chlorination of starting material C3-chlorinated alkane in chlorination zone with molecular chlorine to obtain a set of C3-chlorinated alkane isomers, wherein in combination of C3-chlorinated alkane isomers each has at least one more chlorine atom compared to starting material C3-chlorinated alkane, where initial C3-chlorinated alkane concentration is controlled such that conversion of the starting material of C3-chlorinated alkane into the combination of C3-chlorinated alkane isomers is represented by the molar ratio of the starting material of C3-chlorinated alkane to C3-chlorinated alkane isomers in the reaction mixture, present in the chlorination zone, not greater than about 40:60, where the starting material C3-chlorinated alkane is 1,1,1,3-tetrachloropropane, and the combination of C3-chlorinated alkane isomers is 1,1,1,3,3-pentachloropropane and 1,1,1,2,3-pentachloropropane, and where molecular chlorine is fed into the chlorination zone in an amount of less than 45 mol % relative to the starting material of C3-chlorinated alkane.
EFFECT: technical result is obtaining chlorinated alkane and alkene compounds of very high purity by selective and reliable methods of producing such compounds, in particular for continuous industrial production.
