FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for use in production of sealed coal-graphite materials intended for operation in chemical, chemical-metallurgical industry, as well as a tooling used in the process of siliconisation when making articles from carbon-silicon carbide composite materials. Method of articles sealing from carbon-graphite materials includes filling of surface pores of article suitable for sealing of product with composition of carbon powder or its mixture with silicon carbide and binder, formation on the surface of the product of a slurry coating based on said composition and siliconising the article by treating it in a vacuum in vapor of silicon with condensation directly in the pores of the material, including at final cooling stage. At that, when filling surface pores of article material and formation on its surface of slurry coating composition of powders of nano- and/or ultrafine carbon is used or carbon and ultra- and/or fine silicon carbide, or carbon, ultra- and/or fine silicon carbide and silicon and coke-forming cold setting binder, and before siliconizing article carbonization of coke-forming binder is carried out, carried out in a single technological process with silicification, which is preceded by time of silicification.

EFFECT: technical result is wider range of carbon-graphite materials for use in making sealed articles and reduced cost of their manufacture.
