SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to glazing 1 and method of its production. Glazing comprises glass element 2, at least one section 3 of the shaped seal, at least one patch 4 having an elongated shape, which extends along the edge of said glass element and which has base 40 and at least one flange 41. Base 40 is located above outer edge 32 of section 3 of shaped seal. Flange 41 comprises, at end 44 opposite said base 40, at least one tongue 45, which is present on said section 3 of profiled seal, while penetrating said section 3 of profiled seal through hole 30, which opens to said outer face 32 and does not open to inner face 33 of said section 3 of profiled seal. Tab 45 is completely in contact with section 3 of shaped seal.

EFFECT: improved tightness due to increased reliability of fastening.
