FIELD: hygiene.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a disposable hygienic absorbent article (1) comprising a liquid-permeable upper sheet (2) of a transparent material, a liquid-impermeable back sheet (4) and absorbent core (6) disposed between upper sheet (2) and back sheet (4). Absorbent core (6) has a smaller length than top sheet (2) and back sheet (4), and is surrounded by peripheral edge zone (8), which comprises top sheet (2) and back sheet (4). Edge zone (8) comprises at least a part of length from appropriate side in relation to central line (A) elastic element (10; 10') extending longitudinally in direction repeating shape of core (6) and/or outermost peripheral edge (80) of edge area (8), wherein back sheet (4), top sheet (2) and elastic elements (10; 10') located between top sheet (2) and rear sheet (4) are connected together along edge area (8) by means of adhesive.
EFFECT: technical result is creation of a disposable hygienic article, which provides good protection against leakage.
