FIELD: engine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to test of fuel equipment of diesel engines, and can be used for technical diagnostics of low-pressure fuel system of diesel engines. Disclosed is a device for diagnosing low-pressure fuel feed system. It consists of housing 8 with pressure gauge 9 and three-way valve 7, valve 12 with nipple 20 and drain sleeve 3, as well as connecting elements: sleeves with tips and elongated nozzles. Valve provides the possibility to control the manometer. Device is additionally equipped with a check valve, which allows excluding oscillations of the manometer needle and clearly recording its readings. Valve seat 13 and valve proper 15 are made of brass, and valve O-ring 16 is made from oil-and-petrol resistant rubber, which improves reliability of the device. Besides, instrument is additionally equipped with pressure gauge with upper limit of measurements of 0.16 MPa for diagnostics of engines, nominal pressure before filter of which does not exceed 0.12 MPa, which increases accuracy of parameters measurement.

EFFECT: in combination, this enables to create a simple and easy-to-use device for diagnosing a low-pressure fuel feed system.
