FIELD: instrument engineering.

SUBSTANCE: compression gauge with spring-free valve has case with manometer, tip made in form of cup provided with channel and thread onto internal and external cylindrical surfaces. Thread onto external surface intends for connection with candle opening or transient coupling. Back valve of compression gauge is disposed in cavity of tip. Valve is made in form of cylindrical pin with clamping bead and with recess under it. Sealing ring is placed inside recess. Slot for letting air go from cavity of tip to its channel is made in top part of pin above bead. Flats in form of two parallel and axis-symmetrical vertical cuts, forming channels for letting air go, are made onto side surface of lower part of pin under bead. Diameter of bead is shorter than external diameter of thread onto internal surface of tip and is longer than external diameter of sealing ring under it. Screw is screwed in tip. Screw is provided with head with slot for screwdriver. Diameter of head doesn't exceed diameter of internal thread onto external surface of tip. Vertical cylindrical cavity is made at side of free edge of screw, along its center. Cavity ends up with opening, which is used by cavity of tip for communication with cavity of cylinder of engine or with transient coupling. Lower part of pin is put down to cavity of screw for vertical movement and to provide contact of ring with edge surface of screw. Screw is screwed into tip to form space between edge surface of top part of pin and bottom surface of tip. Compression gauge has simple design.

EFFECT: comfort at use; low degree of error.
