FIELD: radio equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering and is applicable to single-chip DSP tuners. Method is characterized by that initial information on tuning frequency is voltage on variable tuning resistor, which after analogue-to-digital conversion and subsequent functional conversion in form of approximated frequency dependence on voltage is transmitted to display for indication of received frequency and its sounding in speech synthesizer. Device for implementing the disclosed method, including a DSP tuner, variable setting resistor and stabilized power supply unit is characterized by that it additionally comprises ADC, programmable interface unit on microcontroller or PLD, indication module and speech synthesizer with speaker, wherein interface unit is connected through ADC to three outputs of variable resistor, and the inputs of the display module and the speech synthesizer control input are connected directly to the outputs of the conjugation unit, wherein the audio output of the speech synthesizer is connected to the speaker.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of frequency band adjustment accuracy.
