SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an antiperspirant/deodorant composition comprising: a carrier medium comprising a polyhydric alcohol or a mixture of a polyhydric alcohol and water, where the polyatomic alcohol comprises an organic compound containing 2 to 6 carbon atoms and 2 to 6 hydroxy groups; thickener containing C_14-22 fatty acid salt, wherein fatty acid salt C_14-22 provides at least one of an alkali metal or alkali-earth metal salt; where salt C_14-22 of fatty acid contains at least one of myristic, palmitic, stearic, behenic, oleic, linoleic and linolenic acids and one or more of sodium, potassium and calcium as a counter ion; and where fatty acid C_14-22 salt is present in amount of 0.5 to 8 wt % based on total weight of antiperspirant/deodorant composition, and an antiperspirant active substance consisting of one or more of layered silicate clay and acyl-substituted polyvinylpyrrolidone with an acyl chain length in range of 16 to 30 carbon atoms, where layered silicate clay provides one or more of sodium-calcium-aluminum-magnesium silicate clay, lithium-magnesium-sodium silicate clay, clay based on sodium-magnesium fluorosilicate and clay based on organomodified hectorite, and where antiperspirant active substance contains clay, present in amount of 0.5 to 5 wt % based on total weight of antiperspirant/deodorant composition, where the polyatomic alcohol is present in amount of 65 to 95 wt % based on the total weight of the antiperspirant/deodorant composition, and where the antiperspirant/deodorant composition contains no monohydric C_1-5 alcohol.

EFFECT: disclosed are antiperspirant/deodorant compositions which do not contain aluminum.
