FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and is intended for detachable fixed connection to each other by means of wedges, parts in the form of shells of rotation, such, for example, as thick-walled spherical and cylindrical shells or thin-walled spherical and cylindrical shells with flange, which after connection can be subjected during operation to intense dynamic loads acting simultaneously in axial and transverse directions. Wedge joint comprises alternating projections made on end surfaces of both shells of revolution, side surfaces of which on each shell of rotation have identical skew. Rotation shells are installed coaxially to each other so that ledges of one shell can enter between projections of the other one, their rotation about axis with mutual engagement and formation of jointed shells of grooves along section of butt joint, in which wedges are installed with tension.
EFFECT: higher strength of detachable fixed connection of parts in form of shells of rotation under conditions of intense vibration and impact loads.
