FIELD: test equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to test equipment and can be used for investigation of operation of radio communication systems with hypersonic aircraft (HSAC). Invention is a method of determining a signal attenuation coefficient in a radio link with HSAC, comprising continuously emitting signals through a transmitting antenna in a third-party transmitting device at a given frequency, received in series with time division by receiving antenna of simulator HSAC, exposed to aerothermodynamic loads, and a receiving antenna located outside the aerothermodynamic loads action area during the rocket truck movement on the rocket track, wherein signal attenuation coefficient in radio communication channel with HSAC is determined in relation to receiving antenna signal power with aerothermodynamic loads action to reception antenna signal power without aerothermodynamic loads, and device for method implementation.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of reliability and accuracy of carried out measurements of radio characteristics of radio equipment HSAC.
