FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in assembly process with riveting with one-sided access. Device comprises rigidly installed on body nozzle with hole for rod of rivet with tear off shank, a clamping device with a longitudinal discharge channel and with movable wedges, hinged mounted handles for transfer of the axial force to the ruptured rod and heating elements. Latter are located in wedges of clamping device and the rod with tear-off shank is heated with provision of melting of composition and its penetration into gaps between rod and head of rivet and elements of riveted pack till tear of rod of rivet and crystallization of composition after shank separation.
EFFECT: higher reliability and tightness of permanent rivet joint.
