FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: rivet for one-side riveting consists of case with through orifice, also case has head, cylinder part and chamber at end; further, rivet consists of core with head, working part, tear-off groove and process shank end arranged inside case. Diametre of the working part of the core is relatively increased; notably, ratio of core working part diametre to diametre of orifice in the case equals to 1.2-1.135. The head of rivet case is flushed, has decreased height and diametre, also ratio of case head diametre to its height is 6.2-8.1, while ratio of case head diametre to diametre of its cylinder part equals to 1.54-1.62.

EFFECT: facilitating riveting thin packages with rivets, high quality of rivet connection, and high durability and fatigue properties.
