FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to oil-field equipment and can be used for production of oil complicated by high gas factor. Method of submersible pump unit operation on load carrying cable includes lowering into the tubing string of installation containing cable extension, upper hydraulic protection, electric motor, bottom hydraulic protection, inverted-type discharge, inverted-type electric centrifugal pump and sealing assembly, and further lifting of well fluid in the tubing string. Note here that gas separator with inlet grate in lower part and discharge holes in upper part are connected to installation below sealing assembly. Installation is lowered into the tubing string with the spent installation located inside the casing string. First, rows of upper and lower openings are pierced in the tubing string. Installation is fixed so that a row of upper holes in the tubing string is located above the level of the well fluid opposite to the gas suction holes of the gas separator, and inlet grid of gas separator was located inside well fluid opposite row of lower holes of tubing string.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at ensuring uninterrupted reliable operation of an electric centrifugal pump by separating separated gas into the annular space.
