FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of machine building. Method of compensation of gaps in worm gears at reciprocating rotary movement includes approach of contact surfaces of worm and worm gear wheel at turning of one of parts of pair to another, wherein approach is performed by turning worm wheel around its axis under action of spring. Invention also claims a backlash worm gearing including a housing, a worm, supports for a worm, a shaft with a worm wheel fixed on it and a spring. Spring tends to turn the worm wheel around its axis and presses it to the worm turn surface, wherein direction of rotation remains constant both at working stroke and during reversing.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of execution of preset program by actuating element, as well as increased service life of worm gear.
