FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to direct conversion of heat into electric energy and can be used for generation of electric energy in heat exchangers. Essence: in a shell-and-tube heat exchanger with branch pipes of input-output of the first working medium flowing under pressure through its tubes, and branch pipes of input/output of the second working body under pressure with different temperature values. Thermoelectric modules are installed on the tubes surface. Electric contacts of the modules are connected in series and are led out by wires through an additional branch pipe of the pressure tap in the heat exchanger housing. Thermoelectric modules housings are insulated with an elastic matrix to exclude thermal shunting. Ejector tube is connected to outlet of first working body, connected via valve to second working body outlet branch pipe, on which additional overlapping valve is also installed, which makes it possible to create movement of the second working body inside inter-tube space by suction without external pressure.
EFFECT: invention allows to convert part of heat energy of hot water pipelines into electric one.
