FIELD: lighting engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to lighting engineering and relates to primary diffuser, light-emitting unit, light-emitting system and headlight. Primary diffuser includes main part containing first optical surface and second optical surface. First optical surface has a straight focusing line. Height of the first optical surface gradually decreases in both sides from the focusing line. Second optical surface comprises ridges arranged in parallel and extending in direction perpendicular to focusing line. Ridges have arched convex surfaces.
EFFECT: technical result consists in enabling scattering of light beam in horizontal direction and reduction of light beam in vertical direction in compliance with requirements for lighting parameters of vehicle headlamp.
