FIELD: filters.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a tunable filter. Disclosed is a tunable filter having a signal circuit defined between a signal input and a signal output. Plurality of circuit elements are connected in a signal circuit; multiple circuit elements comprise a frequency-tunable resonator and an adjustable scaling unit which applies a gain which is adjustable in a range comprising a positive gain and a negative gain. Controller is connected with possibility 1) to adjust resonant frequency-tuned resonator and 2) adjust the gain of the adjustable scaling unit between the negative gain and the positive gain, thereby providing a variable Q-factor independent of frequency.
EFFECT: high flexibility of adjusting characteristics of a tunable filter.
