FIELD: power plants.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power plants and can be used to increase efficiency of a group of power plants. Combined system for starting and smoothing curves of loads of a group of self-contained gas piston and diesel-generator sets using high-power storage batteries, including operations of conversion of internal energy of fuel into electric energy of standard frequency and voltage, accumulation of electric energy into batteries of capacitors in mode of normal power consumption, supply of electric energy from capacitors bank and accumulator battery to input of frequency converter and voltage, interconnected operations of reactive power calculation in unit of reactive current sensors, output of reactive power sensor operation results to frequency converter input and power plant forcing by reactive power, where instead of conventional start-up batteries on each of N power plants there are two common groups of storage batteries of high power, connected to each other by first double-pole switch, which in normal mode are connected to each other in series and operate through frequency converter and voltage and connected in series matching transformer to network for smoothing of load graphs, first group of batteries is connected to primary engines of power plants through second, third and fourth double-pole switches and is used for start-up of self-contained gas piston and diesel-generator plants, in mode of maximum output of power to the network and simultaneous start of engines, groups of batteries can operate independently with the first double-pole circuit breaker open and the closed single-pole switch.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of starting a group of primary electric motors and smoothed schedules of loads during operation of independent gas-piston and diesel-generator sets using high-power accumulator batteries.
