SUBSTANCE: invention relates to drilling of oil and gas wells, namely to drilling muds for drilling in complex mining and geological conditions. Emulsion drilling mud contains, wt%: hydrocarbon phase 8-2; polyhydric alcohol - glycol 3-5; modified starch 3-4 as stabilizer; as a rheological properties regulator - biopolymer - xanthan gum 0.3-0.5; magnesium dichloride MgCl2 5-7; potassium chloride KCl 5-7; dichlorated calcium CaCl2 1-3; calcium carbonate CaCO3 5-30; bentonite 1.0-2.5; mineralized or fresh water - balance.
EFFECT: improving inhibiting properties of emulsion drilling mud, preventing swelling of clay rocks, with increasing coefficient of recovery of permeability of productive reservoirs.
