FIELD: drilling of wells.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a downhole tool for moving a part of a tool between a retracted position and an extended position in the well. Downhole tool comprises a tool housing having a length in the axial direction; a tool portion configured to move perpendicular to the axial length between the retracted position and the extended position; extending drive device for extending part of tool from tool housing by means of hydraulic means, wherein the extending drive device comprises a drive device housing and a retractable piston configured to slide inside the housing of the drive device, wherein part of tool is connected with extending piston; and retracting drive device comprising spring element intended for retraction of part of tool into tool housing, wherein retracting drive device is connected to extending piston, so that when part of tool is extended by means of extending drive device is provided compression of spring element. Spring-loaded element is located outside the case of the drive device.
EFFECT: downhole tool is disclosed.
