SUBSTANCE: in accordance with the present invention, a method is provided for manufacturing a disposable pants-type diaper on space-saving and simple equipment, with simultaneous reduction of the risk of wrinkles, comprising: feeding continuous sheet material (12S) along the continuation direction thereof; placing elastic and stretching members (15–18) for applying elasticity to ventral outer cover body (12F), and dorsal outer cover body (12B), arranged in a CD direction intermediate section (12c) of sheet material (12S); folding parts located on one side and on the other side in the CD direction relative to part (12c), which is intermediate in CD direction, towards that side of part (12c) which is intermediate in the CD direction, where there are elastic and stretching members (15–18), clamping and fixing elastic and stretching members (15–18) in folded sheet material (12S) and joining the folded parts and part (12c) intermediate in the CD direction to form a continuous elastic band; cutting the elastic band in a place which is intermediate in the CD direction, to obtain elastic band (12b) located on the dorsal side and elastic band (12f) located on the ventral side, and then attaching inner member (200) to elastic band (12b) located on the dorsal side and elastic band (12f) located on the ventral side.

EFFECT: main object of the present invention, while enabling the manufacture of space-saving and simple equipment lies in like to reduce the risk of wrinkles.
