FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology. Disclosed is a method for producing dry bacterial preparations, involving applying a bacterial suspension mixed with protective components, on dry porous carrier - water-soluble paper, previously sterilized in reservoir for drying, in ampoule, at 0.1 cm3 of suspension per 1.0 cm2 of paper. Ampoules content is then dried without freezing at 20–25 °C, residual pressure of 5-10 Pa, freezing condenser temperature from minus 60 to minus 65 °C for 6–8 hours.
EFFECT: invention ensures preservation of viability and biological properties of microbial cells during long-term storage of museum cultures of microorganisms.
