FIELD: education.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to globes and is intended for training. Globe contains the base and the globe body. Globe body is made of first thick layer of transparent dielectric material, on top of which there is a second thin layer of transparent dielectric material with applied image. At that, on the second thin layer there are opaque sections with image and transparent sections corresponding to geographical objects, as well as through holes. Some holes are located at sections corresponding to geographical objects. Globe body contains contacts arranged under through holes connected by communication lines to current conducting circuits. At that, each current-conducting circuit includes a contact related to the question and a contact related to the answer about the corresponding geographical object, and this contact is located under the through hole in the section corresponding to the geographical object. Globe also includes a power supply unit and signalling means, which are LEDs, each of which is connected to a contact related to the response, and is located inside the globe body under the transparent section of the second thin layer corresponding to the geographical object. Globe comprises a device for periodic electrical connection of contacts to the power supply unit; it is made in the form of two probes connected to the power supply unit. Contacts and current-conducting circuits can be made on the first thick layer of the globe body or on the additional intermediate layer of the material placed between the first thick layer and the second thin layer of the globe body. Contacts and current-conducting circuits can be made in the form of flexible printed-circuit boards. Power supply unit can be arranged at the base of the globe. Transparent sections of second thin layer can repeat contours of geographical objects. Globe can be equipped with a sound signalling device connected to the power supply unit.

EFFECT: globe is designed to check user's geographic knowledge in question-answer form, enhances engagement in geography training, increases cognitive interest of users and can serve as a good teaching aid in school and for individual training.
