FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to structures of light structural elements and can be used for decorative design with illumination of paths, sidewalks, highways, various sites and premises. Method comprises preparation of a mixture for face protective layer, preparation of mixture for layer of tile base by mixing polymer resin with reinforcing substance, pouring the prepared mixture for the face protective layer into the filling moulds, pouring the second layer with the mixture for the tile base layer, curing and breaking-off. Preparation of the mixture for the face protective layer is carried out by mixing the polymer resin with the luminophor powder, the volume fraction of which is from 5 to 50 % of the volume of the mixture for the face protective layer, pouring of the second layer with a mixture for the layer of the tile base is carried out 5–20 minutes after the beginning of the polymerisation reaction of the filled mixture for the face protective layer. Reinforcing material used is marble or granite crumbs with volume fraction of reinforcing substance from 10 to 80 % of volume of mixture for base of tiles. Epoxy or polyester resin is used as polymer resin.

EFFECT: technical result is reduced technological labour intensity and shorter manufacturing time of luminous tiles, having high strength, durability and reliability of lighting properties of tiles.
