SUBSTANCE: drawing carriage for drawing mill comprises two clamping blocks and device for movement of clamping blocks for movement, opening and closing of clamping blocks. Device for movement of clamping blocks has one linear motor, wherein the linear motor has a stator part fixed on the drawing carriage and a rotor part located on the drawing carriage and linearly moving relative to the stator part, which is configured to directly or indirectly engage with at least one clamping block or clamping shoe holder.

EFFECT: as a result, avoiding slippage and flattening of the material being pushed by increasing the accuracy of synchronizing movement of the clamping blocks.
