FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to the technology of processing minerals by flotation, for example, potassium ores. Method for flotation dressing of potassium ores involves grinding, classification, floatation deslimination of ore and sylvite floatation. Flotation desamming of ore is performed in column machines at flow rate feeding pulp feeder of 0.60–1.95 cm/s and at ratio of volume of flotation zone and volume of froth zone in range of 9–55 respectively.
EFFECT: technical result is increased selectivity and efficiency of floatability of sludge from potassium ore, reduced losses of potassium chloride with sludge product, reduced content of insoluble impurities in feed of subsequent sylvite floatation and improvement of its indices.
