SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering systems and can be used for passive determination by mobile measuring point of spatial parameters, for example, angular position, elements of broadband telecommunication systems. To this end, operations of estimating the amount and values of the characteristic frequencies , used in the received broadband signals are introduced: for source of FHSS signals by s2(t), number of used in the received implementation of FHSS signal of frequency positions and value of frequencies of positions - characteristic frequencies of the received FHSS signal , , depending on the angular position β2 sources of FHSS signals relative to mobile reception point speed vector; for source of LFM signals by s3(t) values of minimum and maximum frequencies of frequency bands of received LFM signal , , depending on angular position β3 source of LFM signals relative to mobile reception point velocity vector, clock synchronization for digital samples of broadband signals, for FHSS and LFM sources of demodulation signals, decoding and extracting information messages in accordance with a frequency-time plan, using successful extraction of information messages as a criterion of correctness of estimating values of characteristic frequencies , of received broadband signals, determining spatial parameters , of elements of telecommunication systems using broadband signals, based on differences in estimates of characteristic frequencies , of received broadband signals and module speed vector of mobile receiving point .
EFFECT: determining spatial parameters of elements of telecommunication systems using broadband signals, which does not require knowledge of actual frequencies of radiation of broadband radio-frequency radiation sources and use of complex multichannel devices.
