SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless communication. Described is a method of facilitating downlink retransmission to a mobile station in a wireless communication network which comprises a base station, connected to communicate with a transparent relay station, wherein the base station performs the following: receiving a retransmission request from the mobile station; scheduling resources for retransmission; transmitting scheduling information for retransmission to a transparent relay station via a control line; and the transparent relay station performs the following: receiving scheduling information for retransmission via the control line and retransmitting data to the mobile station in a retransmission subframe in a retransmission frequency band.
EFFECT: improved downlink retransmission scheme in transparent relay systems.
