FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to vehicle emergency stop device. Device consists of support, rotation and stabilization elements. Support is a metal or polymer bellows capable of expanding under action of gas or compressed air and compressed under action of elasticity of bellows ribs. Bellow bottom is made of semi-rigid polymer plate with suction cups capable of bending along road surface relief. Top rigid cover of bellows has holes, in which gas cartridges, safety and discharge valves are installed. Element of rotation is metal disc rigidly connected with machine bottom and rotating together with it in case of accident, and the stabilization, braking and stopping element is another metal disc rigidly connected to the bellows cover and coming in tight contact with the first disc when expanding the bellows. Rotation shaft is connected through disc center with its bottom coupled with ball bearing, and with bellows cover via rolling bearing and riser where electromagnetic brake is mounted. Note here that both discs are coated with polymer film with low friction coefficient. To absorb vibrations, each disc is equipped with polymer rings from porous material. To stabilize the machine at rotation on the shaft of the shaft there is a fan along the circumference of the damper spring.
EFFECT: creation of compact, efficient, reliable device for emergency shutdown of car of reusable action, which improves safety of traffic on roads.
