FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method for electromagnetic ore preparation of noble metal ores before grinding and a device for softening materials with a crystal lattice, which can be used in ore preparation before extracting the useful component by enrichment methods. Method consists in the fact that the treated material is exposed to low-frequency and high-frequency pulsed magnetic fields, wherein during the period of the low-frequency magnetic field action, the high-frequency magnetic field is exposed to at least 10 times, and period of action of high-frequency magnetic field is less than period of action of main magnetic field of not less than 100 times. Impact of magnetic fields is carried out by means of device for softening of materials, containing main and additional inductors, protective shell separating inner surface of electromagnetic system and material processing zone. Shell additionally comprises a low-current inductor system having inductive coupling with the main and additional inductors and connected to the measuring element included in the device.

EFFECT: method and device provide higher extraction of useful component due to reduction of strength characteristics of boundary layer at boundaries of ore and non-ore phases separation.
