FIELD: electric power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in power engineering, in power supply of objects with automated control systems. According to the method, consumers install RP devices, which respond to inadmissible deviation from normal electrical operating parameters, in a power supply network, continuously measuring operating electrical parameters and analyzing transient processes by their wavelet transformation, and in case of damage in the network, start-up of RP devices and emergency disconnection of the corresponding consumers is performed at output of wavelet-function values beyond the specified limits. Analysis of transient processes in power supply network is carried out by continuous Morlet wavelet transformation, wherein in the occurrence of nonsinusoidal modes and distortions of the current sinusoid shape in the network owing to the voltage control systems action, as well as when signals generated by intruder appear, wavelet function value is lower than preset threshold value and formation signals for disconnection from RP devices are prevented, and when a fault occurs in the network, a wavelet transformation spike is fixed, after which generation of signals for disconnection from the RP devices is allowed, wherein the beginning of the emergency situation is determined simultaneously for all RP devices by the minimum time for achieving the maximum wavelet transform function for each phase of current and voltage when the predetermined threshold value is exceeded.

EFFECT: high efficiency of protecting consumers from cyberattacks while maintaining high quality of protection thereof against damage in a power supply network.
