METHOD FOR TIME SYNCHRONIZATION OF DEVICES OF PROTECTIVE RELAY USING EMERGENCY MODE PARAMETERS Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC H02H7/26 H04B17/40

Abstract RU 2740360 C1

FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in power engineering for uninterrupted power supply to consumers. In the protective relay devices time synchronization method using the emergency mode parameters, which consists in the fact that at each of the monitored power system objects electric parameters are measured, and when a technological violation occurs in any of the objects, spectral analysis of the transient process of one of the emergency mode parameters is carried out and when the specified threshold level is exceeded, the beginning of the emergency situation is determined, which is used for synchronization of all protective relay devices, according to the invention transient processes in process violation are analysed for each phase of current and voltage, and the moment of occurrence of the emergency situation is determined by means of a wavelet transformation with a Morlet mother wavelet, wherein selecting a time window for the formation of a buffer of instantaneous current values, as an analysed function, a modulus of coefficients of complex wavelet transformation is used, on the beginning of an emergency situation is judged by the simultaneous for all protective relay minimum time for achieving the maximum wavelet transformation function for each phase of current and voltage at exceeding preset pick-up value, after the beginning of the emergency situation, periodically sending for all devices of the protective relay periodic measurement signals with sufficient signal frequency for their operation.

EFFECT: technical result is improvement of reliability of power supply to consumers.
